UP NEET UG Round 2: Security Deposit & Choice Filling Guidelines
- Mandatory Security Money: Only candidates who successfully deposit the prescribed security money will be allowed to participate in the choice-filling process. Candidates who deposited security money in Round 1 and did not take admission/were not allotted a seat do not need to pay again.
- Mandatory Choice Locking: Candidates must lock their submitted college preferences before the deadline. Unlocked choices will not be considered for seat allotment under any circumstances.
- Seat Upgradation Rules: Candidates admitted in Round 1 who opted for upgradation can fill higher preferences. If upgraded in Round 2, the previous Round 1 seat will be automatically cancelled and allotted to another candidate.

Documents Required for Reporting at Designated Nodal Centres
- UP NEET UG Round 2 Provisional Allotment Letter
- NTA NEET UG 2026 Admit Card and Official Scorecard / Rank Letter
- High School (Class 10th) Certificate & Marksheet (Proof of Date of Birth)
- Intermediate (Class 12th) Certificate & Marksheet
- UP Domicile Certificate (Issued by competent authority of UP government)
- Reservation / Caste Certificate (OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, Ex-Army, NCC) in UP prescribed format
- Valid Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, or Driving License)
- Demand Draft (DD) / Receipt for Tuition Fee Payment
- Four passport-size photographs (Same as uploaded in NEET application)
How To Check UP NEET UG Round 2 Merit List & Download Allotment Letter
- First of all, visit the official website upneet.gov.in or click on the link given below in the Important Link Section.
- On the homepage, check the notifications section and click on “State Merit List of Round-2 UG 2026”.
- Open the PDF and search for your Roll Number or Name using Ctrl + F to view your state merit rank.
- For choice filling, click on the ” Choice Filling” link, select Course (UG NEET Medical/Dental), and log in with your credentials.
- Submit and lock your preferences of colleges before the closing date.
- When declared, check the seat allotment result and download your provisional allotment letter from Candidate Login.
