- Correct Answer: +2 Marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Incorrect Answer: No Negative Marking (0 Marks deducted for wrong attempts).
- Unanswered / Marked for Review : 0 Marks awarded.
- Dropped Questions: If a question is found to be incorrect and dropped by subject experts, full +2 marks will be awarded only to candidates who attempted that question (or all candidates depending on the technical error nature).
- Calculation Formula : Total Estimated Score = (Total Number of Correct Questions × 2)
- Category 1: Qualified for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), Appointment as Assistant Professor, and Admission to Ph.D.
- Category 2: Qualified for Appointment as Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D. (Without JRF).
- Category 3: Qualified solely for Admission to Ph.D. programmes (Valid for 1 year, where 70% weightage is given to NET score and 30% to interview/viva).
