Candidates Aspiring For Admission Into Undergraduate Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech), Architecture (B.Arch), And Planning (B.Planning) Courses Across NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, And Other Participating State Engineering Institutions—As Well As Aspiring Candidates Qualifying For JEE Advanced 2027 For Admission To IITs—Can Now Complete Online Registration On The Official Portals jeemain.nta.nic.and nta.ac.in.

- Qualifying Examination : Candidates must have passed the Class 12th / equivalent qualifying examination in 2025, 2026, or appearing in 2027 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
- Age Criteria : There is no upper age limit to appear in the JEE Main examination.
- 75% Admission Criteria (NITs / IIITs / CFTIs) : For final admission through JoSAA / CSAB counselling, candidates must secure at least 75% marks in Class 12th Board (65% for SC / ST candidates) OR be in the Top 20 Percentile of their respective Class 12 board results.
- Number of Attempts : Candidates are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) for three consecutive years starting from the year of passing their Class 12th examination.

• Marking Scheme : +4 Marks for each correct answer; -1 Mark (Negative Marking) for every incorrect answer (applicable in both Section A & Section B).
• Test Medium : Available in 13 languages (English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).
- Recent passport-size photograph (10 KB to 200 KB) in JPG/JPEG format against a white background.
- Scanned signature of the applicant (4 KB to 30 KB) in running handwriting on plain white paper.
- Active Mobile Number and unique Email ID for OTP verification and registration.
- Government Identity Verification (Aadhaar Card, DigiLocker ID, ABC ID, Passport, or PAN Card).
- Class 10th and Class 12th marksheets / roll number details (for appearing students, board exam roll details).
- Category Certificate (Gen-EWS / OBC-NCL / SC / ST) and PwD Certificate, if applicable.
- First of all visit the official website of NTA JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in or Click on the link given below in the Important Link Section.
- Click on the active registration link titled “JEE (Main) 2027 Registration / Application Form”.
- Authenticate identity using Aadhaar Card / DigiLocker / Passport / PAN Card and complete basic details to generate an Application Number.
- Log in using your generated Application Number and Password.
- Complete personal details, educational qualifications, paper choice (Paper 1, Paper 2A, or Paper 2B), and choose four examination cities.
- Upload scanned copies of photograph and signature in the prescribed dimensions.
- Pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI gateway.
- Download and print the final Confirmation Page for JoSAA admission records.
