JEE Main 2027 Session 1: Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifying Examination: Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject.
• Passing Year Limit: Candidates who passed Class 12th in 2025 or 2026, or those who are appearing in the 2027 Board examination, are eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: There is no upper or minimum age limit for appearing in JEE (Main) 2027.
• Admission Benchmarks (NITs/IIITs/CFTIs): Candidates require at least 75% marks in Class 12th (65% for SC/ST) or must be in the top 20 percentile of their respective qualifying board.

How To Fill JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Online Application Form

1. First of all, visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in or click on the link given below in the Important Link Section.
2. Click on the “JEE (Main) 2027 Registration” portal link.
3. Choose your authentication mode (Aadhaar Card, DigiLocker, ABC ID, or Passport) to generate your unique Application Number and Password.
4. Log in and complete the application form by filling in personal details, educational qualifications, communication address, and category.
5. Select the Paper applying for (Paper 1 – B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A – B.Arch, or Paper 2B – B.Planning) and choose your preferred 4 Examination City Centres.
6. Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and category/PwD certificate (if applicable) according to the prescribed format.
7. Verify all filled information carefully before final submission using the preview page.
8. Pay the requisite application fee online through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
9. Download and print multiple copies of the Confirmation Page for future reference and exam hall verification.
