- Minimum Age: No Minimum Age Limit
- Maximum Age: No Upper Age Limit
- Candidates who have passed the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2025, 2026, or are appearing in 2027, irrespective of their age, can appear in JEE (Main) 2027.
- Qualifying Examination: Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) examination conducted by any recognized Central/State Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject.
- Appearing Candidates: Students appearing in their Class 12th Board examinations in 2027 are provisionally eligible to apply.
- Admission Criteria (NITs / IIITs / CFTIs): Candidates must secure at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12th Board (65% for SC / ST candidates) OR be in the top 20 percentile of the respective Board examination.
- Year of Appearance: Candidates can appear in JEE (Main) for three consecutive years from the year of passing Class 12th.

- Register by selecting identity authentication (Aadhaar Card, DigiLocker, ABC ID, or Passport).
- Fill in Personal Details, Contact Address, Academic Qualifications, and choose preferred Examination City Centres.
- Select the Paper applying for (Paper 1 – B.Tech, Paper 2A – B.Arch, or Paper 2B – B.Planning) and choose the Session (Session 1 or Both).
- Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph and signature as per specified dimensions.
- Pay the application fee online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
